Kulak’s Woodshed is a no alcohol, volunteer run, donation funded, acoustic music, singer songwriter listening room and multi-camera live video webcasting/recording studio that seats about 50. The artists who perform here do so purely for the love of their craft and range from developing talents to #1 hit singer/songwriters, and Grammy winners.

If you know how to play, bring up an instrument with the number of strings you like and we'll make room for you.
We will always have plenty of food being served, so take the extra eight minutes to drive up the road for lunch, entertainment and fresh air. If you plan to hike, come early and lunch afterward - many have found it hard to leave!

Not only can your family and friends watch you from anywhere in the world via the 5 camera live webcast, but its where musicians gather to collaborate and create a grass roots scene which Kiki best describes as "Woodstock In A Coffeehouse." If you're looking for something much different from the L.A. scene, come on down and experience our living room. If you're itchin' to perform at the Woodshed, come on down.

This is the premiere weekly performance showcase/open mike in Los Angeles. It's a place where the diverse talents of our creative community can be appreciated, and the craft of songwriting especially can be honored. Each week, we feature two of the finest up&coming writer/performers in LA in a relaxed casual atmosphere. There is no cover charge; however a $10 minimum on food or drink is requested, to help sustain the establishment. And Cafe Bellissimo, in support of the Showcase, offers a generous 2-for-1 Songwriter Night Special, which makes an evening at the MSSS one of the best dining/entertainment values around.
